چکیده
Plasma nitriding is a method of surface modification using glow discharge technology to introduce nitrogen into the metal, which subsequently diffuses material. The main advantages plasma over conventional processes are: reduced cycle time, controlled growth layer, elimination white distortion, no need finishing, pore-free surfaces and mechanical masks instead copper plating. process especially suitable for complex parts that are intensively solicited by wear, fatigue, contact pressure, shocks, possibly also corrosion. It applied in order bring metallic products state favourable from point view structure, chemical composition internal stress state. paper presents an analysis structures characteristics widely used structural steel 39 - CrAl6. As result nitriding, layer with high wear fatigue resistance was created on Also, between base material interposed hard substrate having bainitic / martensitic structure.
